• Connections: The pump features a plain horizontal 14.0mm (0.55') O.D. outlet connection. Additionally, it includes a barbed fitting threaded into the outlet's interior, providing a 10.0mm (0.39') O.D. barb.

• 2-Year Warranty: Please be aware that this warranty excludes diaphragm kits, which are considered replaceable and wearable parts typically requiring replacement every 12-18 months.

• Usage Tip - Blue Diamond: A common issue with this and other larger air pumps is premature diaphragm tearing due to excessive back pressure. If the air pump is driving a diffuser that is too small or has too few outlets, it can lead to heightened back pressure.

• Solution: To address this concern, it is recommended to add a tee with a ball valve or another 'bleeder valve.' This allows excess air to be bled off into the atmosphere. Begin with the valve fully open and gradually close it until you achieve the maximum output from your air diffusers without introducing unnecessary back pressure.
